August 18 - Val Bucher's 18th Bday...lucky 12:45 p.m.

I bought new cds yesterday! But unfortunately, as Linda pointed out, it was probably not a good idea for me to spend all the money I had for the week in one day...but what the hell, right? I got Ani - Living in Clip and Etheridge - Skin. Woo hoo! Talk about your righteous babes.

So, Linda's "doing my best" was exactly what I needed. Thank you Linda! I've had two good Linda nights in a row. This is good. It's odd. One of us definitely goes through phases. I think it's probably me though. But in these phases, everytime I leave her, or she leaves me, after spending time together, I feel really icky and pissed, and disappointed. That's kind of how it had been lately. But right now is good. I want it to be good when I leave. It seems like this should be something we'd be able to work on, to make it happen, but I have no clue what the distinction is. Sometimes I enjoy her a lot more than others...inexplicably.

I gotta work relatively soon. Eh. It's just work, and it's just two days, and then I get one off. I feel bad...Beth wants me to come over next week...but there are still pending things. I might be going to MA on Monday...but I don't even know when I'm going to find out whether I am going or not, so I can't really let her know quite yet.

My legs are very forest-like. I should do something about that.

I also need to go do some laundry.

And I have the desire, as usual lately, to watch a movie. Right now I want to be watching "Original Sin." Ah, that was a good movie. It's not even really my type of movie, but Angelina Jolie is Angelina Jolie, you know? There's a scene where she's lying in bed, propped up behind Antonio Banderas and she just looks genuinely sooo beautiful.
