A careful disguise Yesterday was good enough to warrant some paper journaling. It didn't start out too great, for reasons I don't think are appropriate to mention, but it got good. The only general downside to the whole day was that I slept a little too long and was pretty groggy all day. I got up at 10, like I said, too late (since I had gone to bed at 11), and didn't go to church with my parents, as I had meant to. Instead I sat down in front of the TV and tried to figure out all the new channels. I didn't figure them out. I made a card for my mom with the watercolor pencils I bought when I went on a late-night (well, it wasn't really late....) run to super wal*mart with my BEAUTIFUL wife (whom is getting beaten down by a big mean asshole! Grr! Leave my beautiful wife alone! You're just jealous because she's hot and you know it!). The pencils are so fun! Um, then my mom came home, and I brought Katie's barrettes to her, since when she left my house Friday night she was basically sleep-walking and forgot to bring them with her. I talked to Tiff, and she came over to drop of stuff I left in her car, and get the earrings she left Friday night. My mom and I watched IQ. Then I got bored. I wandered around, went to movie gallery to see if they had L & D. Yeah, they didn't. Yeah, Tiff was right, I regret not getting it in Topsham when I saw it. oooooops. Oh well, perhaps it wasn't meant to be for some reason. Um, then, at some point I headed back to Boston. When I got on the bus, I immediately saw this gay girl. Well, actually, I saw her waiting in line. She had cool rainbow earrings and a rainbow ribbon on her bag. I did something really dumb, and then I was like "Boy do I feel like an asshole." My parents laughed, and so did she. I was almost thinking I'd try to sit with her on the bus, but THEN, I saw Andrea! What a coincidence! So I sat with her and we spent the whole bus ride talking about NU and EL and Noah and stuff. It was really fun. And we kept each other company on the T and stuff. Mmmmgood. Then I got back and talked to Lala about the outright prom. Ooh, I hope that she and Jeff wanna go. It would be so fun! But it's really a question of money, and time and some other things. So, I'd understand if it doesn't work out. I went to Kennedy to work on a paper. That was good. My partner is so nice, and smart, and yes, it is good. I've had two really good partners for research methods actually. Praise the Lord! I was really happy about stuff, for the most part. Now my only disappointment stems from the fact that there's nobody online because they're all home. I'm also supposed to be working on Psych of Language homework, and I simply do NOT want to. Uck. So. I hope someone comes online soon. | |
