Feeling talkative (write-ative?) Ooh, sudden pang of hunger comes over me. Sooo, I got up today at 8:30 as usual. It's been hot in my room all day, because, well, our heat decided that it doesn't want to EVER turn off anymore, I'll deal with that tomorrow. But aaanyway, I went to class and took a news quiz on which I think I got a 90. I just can't make it to 100. Hmmph. Oooh well. Then there were a couple hours of work in there. Then More class, which actually wasn't NEARLY as bad as I thought it might be. I renewed my library books, and WILL start my spanish paper this weekend. Then I hung out in Jeff's room for a bit, and went to chorus. I'm now home. All day I've also been collecting subjects for my psych experiment. I need one more female, and I shall be finished. Not bad at all, since it doesn't need to be done until Monday. Wow, what a weird phenomenon, my arms are really cold when I'm typing, because I have my window open, but when I raise them up into the general air of the room, it is really, suffocatingly warm, even for my hands. Yes. Chorus was good tonight. It's definitly a rehearsal I wouldn't have wanted to miss, but I could have missed it easily. Stupid asshole conductor. I could be at the fucking red sox game right now. *big fucking sigh* Shit. There were some things I wanted to comment on. I'm working on scoring a ride home from the bus station Friday, and a ride to the bus station on Saturday so that I can go to the outright prom. It'll be okay if it's just Katie, Sarah, me and even Lauren, but if Jeff goes too, then we'll exceed the capacity of the taurus, and a mini-van will become necessary. But who knows, maybe Jeff won't go. Maybe Lauren won't go. In that case, I think we'll still need someone to pick us up Friday, but it can be pretty much anyone. Anyone wanna contribute to the "emily needs a ride" cause? Maybe I can get in touch with George. Hmmm. Does her van still run? I've just emailed George. I love this song. Aaron doesn't. "Goodbye Sky Harbor" by Jimmy Eat World. Hmm, I was really disappointed with Linda's newsletter. I was looking forward to some sensationalistic comedy, but she appeared to just be kissing people's butts. Hmm. Oh well. There's always time for improvement. So, my friend Kate. Okay, so maybe she's not really a friend, but I know where she lives! And we're on a first-name basis! And I talk to her in chorus every week! Anyway, yes, Kate is my hero. Well, not really. Man, I keep lying. She sang the national anthem at the red sox game yesterday! AND, at the concert this weekend, she's singing Habanera from Carmen. She's utterly amazing. It was making me wish that I had a pretty voice in chorus today. I've got the ability to sing, but not the voice of a real singer. Although, if I'm not mistaken, my voice has started to grow up and sound better over this past year. Let's keep this going! uuuh. I KNOW there was more that I wanted to say, but I can't think of it, so I shall bid you all adieu. (yeah, all 3 of you. Ha! I'm getting very very few visitors lately. Hi Linda, Ryan, Liz, Tiff, Karin, Serena and Lala!...yeah, seriously, I'm only getting a couple hits a day.) | |
